The Sunset Sea View Villa 5 with private infinity pool is located in a quiet area embedded in an olive grove in Agios Georgios in the northwest of the island of Corfu at the intersection of the 4 villages of Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas, Arillas and Kavvadades. All the nine Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are situated on five adjoining plots with a total area of over 12.750 sqm.

Sunset Sea View Villa 5 offers beautiful views of the coastal village of Arillas and from spring to autumn of the sunset near or behind the Diapontian Islands and Cape Kefali. Due to the central location between Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas and Arillas, several stunning sandy beaches and also the double bay Porto Timoni are very easy to reach. The beautiful sandy beaches of Agios Georgios Pagon (Pagi) (about 5 minutes by car), Arillas (about 5 minutes by car) as well as the sandy beach of Agios Stefanos (about 8 - 9 minutes by car) are all only a few minutes away.

Especially the sandy beaches of Arillas and Agios Stefanos, but also the southern part of the long sandy beach in Agios Georgios Pagon are all very shallow sloping and therefore very suitable for children. Along the three sandy beaches you will find cafés, bars, taverns and restaurants as well as supermarkets and souvenir shops. Motor boats (up to 30 hp can be used without a licence), pedal boats, canoes and surfboards can be rented on all three beaches. The picturesque mountain village of Afionas, which is located nearby, has quite a number of typical Greek tavernas and restaurants, which offer tasty food and great views of the sea and the sunset between the Diapontian Islands. Living area with open plan kitchen and dining area: Spacious seating area for 6-8 people, coffee table, large 58" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with 147 cm LED screen diagonal and easy access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video und YouTube (all directly as buttons on the remote control) and excellent sound with DTS Studio Sound support as well as air conditioning (can also be used as heating). Fully equipped kitchen with 4 ring induction hob, oven, extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer with large fridge and separate freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Dining area with dining table with 8 chairs (high chairs for toddlers can be added).

Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms, both with 1.80 m x 2.00 m double beds with two seperated high quality 90 x 200 cm mattresses. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning (can also be used as heating), electric window shutters, 2 bedside tables, 2 reading lamps, a spacious wardrobe, a laundry basket and a security safe as well as a large mirror. Cots for infants can be added free of charge (on request). In one of the bedrooms is an Iron and an ironing board.

Bathrooms: 4 en-suite bathrooms with floor-level showers with rain shower heads. Each bathroom has a vanity unit with sink, a mirrored cabinet and a WC. One bathroom per floor has a hairdryer.

• The infinity pools of Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are all operated as saltwater pools with state-of-the-art salt chlorine generators. Due to the disinfection of the pools by salt-chlorine generators, you as a guest will have a much more pleasant swimming experience. The water feels velvety soft compared to the water treated with chlorine/chlorine tablets in conventional pools. Conventional chlorine is known to dry out the skin, irritate the eyes, and even cause allergies and skin irritation for some swimmers. Because saltwater pools do not use chemical-based conventional chlorine, they are much more hypoallergenic (less allergenic). The "unstabilized" chlorine produced by salt chlorine generators is much softer, safer and healthier. It acts immediately and oxidizes very quickly. As a result, there is hardly any noticeable chlorine odor. It is still chlorine, but it is produced by electrolysis from salt (sodium chloride / NaCl), so it is far less chemically aggressive than liquid, tabular or granular chlorine.
  
  The salinity in our saltwater pools powered by salt chlorine generators is also far less than the salinity of seawater. You will hardly be able to taste the saltiness. This is because saltwater pools are operated with an average salt content of about 0.35%. In comparison, seawater has an average salt content of about 3.5%, which is almost 10 times higher. The salt content of the Mediterranean Sea is even higher with an average of approx. 3.8%. The salt content in the water of our pools is thus lower than the salt content in human tear fluid, which has a salt content of approx. 0.9%. Thus, you can normally leave your eyes open underwater in our infinity pools without your eyes turning red and "burning" as they do in seawater or pool water treated with conventional chlorine tablets.
• In case of long-term rental in the winter months (between November and March), the accommodation is not cleaned by the landlord. Two sets of bed linen and two sets of bath towels and hand towels are provided, which the tenant must change / wash himself (washing machine and dryer are available).
  

Villa/Cottage with 4 bedrooms

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht von Arillas und die vorgelagerten Inseln. Wir haben dort einen wunderbaren entspannten, erholsamen und genussvollen Urlaub verbracht und werden auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin reisen.

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Bei der Ankunft waren gekühlte Getränke im Kühlschrank (Bier, Wein, Wasser und Saft) vorzufinden. Es gibt ausreichend Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Die Handtücher wurden alle 3 Tage gewechselt, die Bettwäsche nach einer Woche und dabei erfolgte auch eine Reinigung des Hauses. Die Räume sind großzügig, die Schränke ausreichend groß, um das Gepäck unterzubringen. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter, sodass gut gelüftet werden kann. Die Terrasse ist sehr großzügig mit Liegen samt Auflagen, einem Esstisch und einer Sitzecke ausgestattet. Der Pool bietet eine ausreichende Erfrischung und kann mit Hilfe des Pool-Roboters selbständig gesäubert werden. Der Gastgeber ist außerordentlich freundlich, zugewandt, hilfsbereit und hat immer wieder Unterstützung für jegliche Gelegenheiten angeboten. Besser geht es nicht!

Der Blick ist ein Traum. Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Der Vermieter ist total freundlich und absolut hilfsbereit. Er ist jederzeit erreichbar und gibt auch gute Ausflugstipps.

Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Es wurden regelmäßig Handtücher und Betten bezogen.

Die Villa ist in einem Top Zustand. Alles ist modern, sauber und gepflegt. Alle Räume sind sehr großzügig, an jedem Schlafzimmer grenzt ein eigenes Bad und auf der Terrasse asse kann man perfekt liegen oder in der Lounge entspannen. Sehr genossen haben wir auch den Pool, von dem man eine atemberaubende Aussicht hat. Nachts kann man die Sterbe und Lichter und abends den Sonnenuntergang bestaunen. Durch die gute Lage kann man viele Strände und Aussichtspunkte in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Auch ist es sehr einfach, den Pool sauber zu halten, da ein Pool Roboter bereitgestellt wird, welcher leicht zu bedienen ist. Zudem kann man im Haus sehr gut selbst kochen dank Induktionsherd, Mikrowelle und Backofen. Außerdem gibt es einen großen Grill. Aber besonders positiv wird uns der ausgezeichnete Service von Claudia und René in Erinnerung bleiben. Immer wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten waren die Beiden sofort erreichbar und man konnte sich immer auf ihre Hilfe verlassen. Wir bedanken uns bei Claudia und René für den tollen Urlaub. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Villa ist modern eingerichtet und gut gelegen mit einer sehr schönen Sicht. Es war alles da was wir brauchten und wenn etwas fehlte wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns tolle Tipps bezüglich Aktivitäten und Restaurants/Supermärkte in der Umgebung gegeben. Rundum haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
