The small picturesque village of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) in Corfu with its beautiful sandy beaches and the Antinioti Lagoon is situated in a scenic natural landscape on the north coast of the island of Corfu. Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) is located between the two larger, more well-known municipalities of Kassiopi and Acharavi in the northeastern part of the island of Corfu, about 1.5 to 2 km southeast of the most northern point of Corfu, the Cape Agia Ekaterini (Aikaterini). In the district of Thinalion, to which the village of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) belongs, flat sandy beaches, many of which are permitted to raise the EU's blue flag, as well as the beautiful southern mountain scenery with the old mountain villages promise a beautiful, versatile holidays.

The highest mountain of the island, the Pantokrator (906 m) with its famous monastery church dating from 1347 and a magnificent panoramic view over the whole island of Corfu to Albania and the foothills of the Greek mainland dominates the whole region around Agios Spyridon (Spiridon). The old Venetian village of Perithia, which is situated below the top of the Pantokrator and was abandoned for a long time and now restored, gives an insight into life from the 13th century onwards and the traditional architecture on the island of Corfu and is worth a visit. The view alone makes it worthwhile to visit also the monastery on top of the Pantokrator.

From the beaches and the coast of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) one has a great view over the crystal blue sea to the rugged, mountainous coast of Albania with its mountain ranges, which form an impressive background scenery.

The shallow sandy beaches with their fine-grained sand are not only ideal for families with small children. The Antinioti Lagoon, which is within walking distance of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) on the west side, is also interesting for nature lovers. It is a biotope and bird paradise with extremely interesting flora and fauna, in which you can also observe the change of tides. In addition to the sandy beaches and a rocky bay that invites you to swim, the small island of Petsapou is just waiting to be explored.

In Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) there are two smaller supermarkets that offer food and goods for daily use, sunshades, beach mats and various swimming utensils (air mattresses, inflatable tires, etc.). There are several tavernas serving Corfiot specialities, freshly caught fish and other sea food. There are also some bars and cafés as well as a boat rental at the main beach of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon). Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) has two churches. Directly at the eastern end of the sandy beach of the main beach is the Agios Spyridon Church, dedicated to St. Spyridon, the patron saint of the village. In the south-west of the village there is also the Agioi Theodoroi Church, dedicated to Saint Theodor. Behind this church is also the cemetery of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon). Approximately 100 m east of the Agioi Theodoroi church you will find an ATM.

Located about 5 km south-west of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon), Acharavi is a large village with many shops and boutiques, supermarkets, doctors, and a wide range of leisure activities (amongst others many water sports facilities and the Aqua Park "Hydropolis") as well as a variety of bars, restaurants and clubs for night owls.

Caesar and Cassanova are said to have strolled along the picturesque promenade in the romantic harbour town of Kassiopi, which is located approx. 7.5 km southeast of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) and crowned by an old castle, and to have enjoyed a good time with fish and wine. Even today, holidaymakers can still relax in the restaurants and cafés on the semi-circular quayside quay and enjoy the view over the pier and the sea in the direction of Albania.

From Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) to Corfu town (and back) there is a bus service several times a day. The bus stop is located a few minutes' walk south of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) on the main road between Acharavi and Kassiopi. A bus commutes from Monday to Friday four times a day during the holiday season between Agios Ilias (Perithia) and Corfu town, which can be reached from Agios Spyridon (Spiridon). The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. On Saturdays there are 3 connections during the season and on Sundays one connection to Corfu town. You can also take the bus to Acharavi, Sidari, Roda and Kassiopi (except on Sundays the bus shuttle between Kassiopi and Sidari several times a day), so that guests do not necessarily have to rely on a car. Distances from Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) to Corfu city, the airport and ferry port of Corfu

The village of Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) with its beautiful sandy beaches is about 40 km away from Corfu town (Kerkyra) and the ferry port of Corfu. The distance to the international airport of Corfu, which is situated just a few kilometres south of the island's capital Kerkyra, is about 44 km. From Agios Spyridon (Spiridon) it is possible to choose between the coastal road (via Kassiopi, Ipsos and Dassia) or the inland road (via Acharavi and Skripero) to the airport or Corfu town. Both routes have about the same length. The route through the interior of the country takes less time as it is less winding but from the coastal road you have better views.
