There are usually sufficient taxis, from our experience a pre-booking is not mandatory. The driving time to Makrades is approximately 45 minutes. Minibus transfer takes you from Corfu Airport (CFU) to your accommodation in Makrades. Of course the other direction (from your accommodation in Makrades to the airport Corfu (CFU)) is offered. The driver knows most of the accommodation in Makrades. To be on the safe side simply give the driver a description of the journey from your booking documents. The minibus transfer is particularly interesting for families, groups as well as several families traveling together. The minibus also has a child seat (further on request if necessary). The journey takes about 40-45 minutes. The minibus can be booked for any day (7 days a week). Please note that the provider operates only a few minibuses and that therefore the number of seats and also the availability of minibuses are limited. There is a direct public transportation bus service only from the main bus station in Corfu town (Kerkyra) to Makrades, but not directly from the airport. The main bus station in Corfu town is located about 1.3 km away from the airport (here is the link to the exact location: Main Bus Station Kerkyra (Green Bus Main Station)). Between the airport and the main bus station shuttle buses are operating that take you to the main bus station. You can also walk the 1.3 km by foot (if necessary; here is the link to the description of the way: Directions Corfu Airport - Corfu Main bus station). From the bus station in Corfu town you can take the Green Bus A16 to Makrades (operator ΚΕΡΚΥΡ ΚΕΡΚΥΡΑΣ). However, the Green buses to Makrades do not operate very frequently, so you should check in advance whether a transfer with the Green Bus is compatible with your flight times.
