The Sunset Sea View Villa 1 with private infinity pool is located in a quiet area embedded in an olive grove in Agios Georgios in the northwest of the island of Corfu at the intersection of the 4 villages of Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas, Arillas and Kavvadades. All the nine Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are situated on five adjoining plots of land with a total area of over 12.750 sqm.

Sunset Sea View Villa 1 offers beautiful views of the coastal village of Arillas and of the sunset next to or behind the Diapontian Islands and Cape Kefali. Due to the central location between Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas and Arillas, several beautiful sandy beaches and also the double bay Porto Timoni are very easy to reach. The gorgeous sandy beaches of Agios Georgios Pagon (Pagi) (about 5 minutes by car), Arillas (about 5 minutes by car) as well as the sandy beach of Agios Stefanos (about 8 - 9 minutes by car) are all only a few minutes away.

Especially the sandy beaches of Arillas and Agios Stefanos, but also the southern part of the long sandy beach in Agios Georgios Pagon are all very shallow sloping and therefore very suitable for children. Along the three sandy beaches you will find cafés, bars, taverns and restaurants as well as supermarkets and souvenir shops. Motor boats (up to 30 hp can be used without a licence), pedal boats, canoes and surfboards can be rented on all three beaches. Also the picturesque mountain village of Afionas, which is located nearby, has quite a number of typical Greek tavernas and restaurants, which offer tasty food and also great views of the sea and the sunset behind or near the Diapontian Islands. The Sunset Sea View Villa 1 is built as a bungalow. It has a living room with open kitchen and a dining area with 4 chairs, two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a large terrace with private infinity pool, on which you can relax in the lounge chairs or on the comfortable sundbeds and watch the idyllic sunset over the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.

Living room with open kitchen and dining area: Seating area with two couches, couch table, large 58" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with 147 cm LED screen diagonal and easy access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video und YouTube (all directly as buttons on the remote control) and excellent sound with DTS Studio Sound support and air conditioning (can also be used as heating). Fully equipped kitchen with 4-plate induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer with large fridge and separate freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Dining area with dining table with 4 chairs (high chairs for small children can be added).

Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms, both with 1.80 m x 2.00 m double beds with two seperated high quality 90 x 200 cm mattresses. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning (can also be used as heating), electric window shutters, 2 bedside tables, 2 reading lamps, a wardrobe, a laundry basket and a security safe as well as a large mirror. Cots for small children can be delivered free of charge (upon request). In one of the bedrooms is an Iron and an ironing board.
 
Bathrooms: 2 en-suite bathrooms with floor-level showers with rain shower head. Each bathroom has a washstand with a washbasin, a mirror cabinet and WC. One of the bathrooms has a hairdryer.

• The infinity pools of Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are all operated as saltwater pools with state-of-the-art salt chlorine generators. Due to the disinfection of the pools by salt-chlorine generators, you as a guest will have a much more pleasant swimming experience. The water feels velvety soft compared to the water treated with chlorine/chlorine tablets in conventional pools. Conventional chlorine is known to dry out the skin, irritate the eyes, and even cause allergies and skin irritation for some swimmers. Because saltwater pools do not use chemical-based conventional chlorine, they are much more hypoallergenic (less allergenic). The "unstabilized" chlorine produced by salt chlorine generators is much softer, safer and healthier. It acts immediately and oxidizes very quickly. As a result, there is hardly any noticeable chlorine odor. It is still chlorine, but it is produced by electrolysis from salt (sodium chloride / NaCl), so it is far less chemically aggressive than liquid, tabular or granular chlorine.
  
  The salinity in our saltwater pools powered by salt chlorine generators is also far less than the salinity of seawater. You will hardly be able to taste the saltiness. This is because saltwater pools are operated with an average salt content of about 0.35%. In comparison, seawater has an average salt content of about 3.5%, which is almost 10 times higher. The salt content of the Mediterranean Sea is even higher with an average of approx. 3.8%. The salt content in the water of our pools is thus lower than the salt content in human tear fluid, which has a salt content of approx. 0.9%. Thus, you can normally leave your eyes open underwater in our infinity pools without your eyes turning red and "burning" as they do in seawater or pool water treated with conventional chlorine tablets.
• In case of long-term rental in the winter months (between November and March), the accommodation is not cleaned by the landlord. Two sets of bed linen and two sets of bath towels and hand towels are provided, which the tenant must change / wash himself (washing machine and dryer are available).
  

Villa/Cottage with 2 bedrooms

Wir haben schon viele Ferienunterkünfte in unterschiedlichen Ländern gemietet, aber diese ist wirklich sensationell gewesen! Eigentlich möchten wir das als Geheimtipp lieber für uns bewahren :-). Das Urlaubsgefühl hat direkt schon beim Betreten der Terrasse mit dem Infinity-Pool und der spektakulären Aussicht begonnen und bis zum Ende nicht nachgelassen. Alles ist wie auf den Bildern und in den Beschreibungen, die Sonnenuntergänge, die Einrichtung, der Pool. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren phantastischen Gastgeber René, der sowohl vor dem Urlaub alle erdenklichen Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt hat, als auch während des Urlaubs ständig ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit bei allen erdenklichen Anliegen war. So einen Service haben wir noch in keiner Unterkunft erlebt. Auch seine Ausflugs-, Wander- und Restauranttipps können wir alle empfehlen, insbesondere auch die Spieße beim lokalen Metzger. Die Allein-Lage der Villa auf dem Hügel mit Meerblick und Pool war für uns perfekt, da wir ungern in Hotels mit vielen Menschen sind. Gleichzeitig ist man aber mit dem Auto in 5-10 Minuten an verschiedenen Stränden. Überhaupt hat Korfu viel zu bieten, man sollte allerdings einen Mietwagen (mit hohem Unterboden) haben. Alles in allem war es ein traumhafter Urlaub und wir kommen sicher wieder! Vielen Dank!

Alles! Aber besonders: die Terrasse mit Grill, den Ausblick, die Sonnenuntergänge, den Pool, die Lage, den Gastgeber

Eigentlich gar nichts! Wenn man unbedingt etwas finden will: die ersten zwei Tage war das Rangieren und Einparken auf den Stellplatz von Villa 1 etwas schwierig, aber wenn man einmal den Dreh raus hat, ist es kein Problem mehr!

Und es ist etwas Wahres daran - denn nach der holprigen Fahrt über Korfus teilweise abenteuerliche Straßen und Wege öffnet sich am Gartenzaun der „SUNSET SEA VIEW VILLA 1“ ein kleines Paradies! Grundstück, Terrasse, Pool und Villa hängen wie ein modernes Schmuckstück im Hang zwischen alten Olivenbäumen und Zypressen. Top gepflegt mit zu Ende gedachter Ausstattung - außen und innen: Überall rutschsichere Fliesen, Infinity-Pool mit (leichtem) Salzwasser, Terrasse mit Esstisch und vier Stühlen, vier Sonnenliegen, Lounge mit Sonnenschirm, Aussendusche mit Warmwasser (Nische mit Schiebetür) mit M E E R B L I C K !!! Wohnküche: Couch und Couchtisch, 55“-TV, Esstisch mit vier Stühlen, Kühl-Gefrierkombi, Spülmaschine, Induktionsherd, Backofen, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Microwelle… selbst ein Stabmixer war in den Schubladen zu finden! Über die Ausstattung an Küchenutensilien und Geschirr kann man nur sagen: alles da! Sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt! Zwei schicke Schlafzimmer mit dahinter liegendem Duschbad und Toilette (durch eine Tür vom Schlafzimmer getrennt) sowie Einbauschränken und großen Doppelbetten in Komforthöhe. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt! Getrennte Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen zum Kühlen und Heizen. Reinigungs-Roboter für den Pool. Ein toller Metzger mit Lebensmittelladen etwa 1 km und ca. 300 m weiter eine Bäckerei mit dem Auto in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Tavernen und Cafés in Arillas und Agios Georgios Pagon sind in 5 bis 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, ebenso die Strände. Der besonders schöne, weil feinsandige und sehr flach ins Meer reichende Strand von Agios Stephanos war unser Favorit. Dort haben wir in der Taverne „Manthos Restaurant & Bar“ sehr lecker und preiswert gegessen. Der Service ist dort ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Villa 1 ist die am höchsten gelegene der Villen und die Aussicht über den Pool auf das Meer ist überwältigend! Die „SUNSET SEA VIEW VILLA 1“ macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre: Die Sonnenuntergänge über Pool und Meer werden unvergesslich sein! Fazit: Die Villa und das Grundstück sind modern und top gepflegt. Das Haus ist super komplett durchdacht ausgestattet. Die Lage des Objekts ist genial. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit… ...und - wir haben am letzten Urlaubstag schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht! Das sagt ja wohl alles!

Das komplette Angebot!

Die Parksituation ist etwas herausfordernd. Ein Tipp von mir für Feriengäste der Villa 1: besser ist es, rückwärts in den Weg einzufahren und dann vorwärts in die Parknische. Rechts sollte beim Einfahren in die Parknische eine zweite Person stehen und den Fahrer einweisen. So klappt es am besten. Ein bisschen Geduld muss man trotzdem mitbringen.

Schon zum 2. Mal und sicher nicht zum letzten Mal haben wir Urlaub in einer Sunset Sea View Villa gemacht-es war einfach wieder traumhaft schön. Das Haus enthält alles, was ein Ferienhaus braucht, eine so gut ausgestattete Küche kannten wir bisher nicht. Bei Ankunft war der Kühlschrank schon mit alkoholfreien und alkoholhaltigen Getränken gefüllt, der Pool war bereit für die erste Abkühlung und der Blick auf die Bucht mit dem allabendlichen Sonnenuntergang ist einfach grandios und hat meditativen Charakter. René ist ein herzlicher und zugänglicher Gastgeber, der im Hintergrund immer ansprechbar ist, unterstützt von seiner Frau.

Danke an Renè mit seiner Sunset Villa. Wir waren in den ersten beiden Juniwochen in Villa 1 und es war wieder phantastisch: das Haus ist tipptopp, die Betten prima, die Küche super ausgestattet und der Pool ideal mit seinen Temperaturen (von früh bis spät). Der Parkraum kann nach kurzer Übung prima direkt am Haus genutzt werden. Es ist kaum zu glauben, dass abends die Kulturgeräusche kaum noch zu hören sind (wo gibt es das heute noch), die leise Zwergohreule ist ein Begleiter am späten Abend, hin und wieder zeigen sich Fledermäuse über dem Pool und die Sonnuntergänge sind grandios (jeden Abend!). Wir konnten wieder absolut die Seele baumeln lassen und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr auf die grüne Insel und die Sun Set Villa von Renè, der stets erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend ist.

Es war alles prima.

Après un séjour de 5 semaines l'an dernier, dans la villa 2, nous avons récidivé cet été pour 4 semaines dans la villa 1. Vous constatez donc que nous sommes tombés amoureux de cet endroit paradisiaque. Comme l'année dernière, tout était plus que parfait ! La villa et ses aménagements intérieur et extérieur... ses équipements complets... les lits confortables avec une note spéciale pour les petites couettes... j'adore !!! Le plan des divisions de la villa a été plus que réfléchi. Que ce soit pour deux ou pour quatre personnes, nous ne nous marchons pas sur les pieds. La piscine à débordement avec la vue sur la mer et le couché de soleil est sans contredit ce qui demeurera le plus longtemps dans votre mémoire !!! Et l'hôte, René, est aussi plus que parfait. Il aime ce qu'il fait et ça paraît. Toujours là si on a besoin de quelque chose. De très bons conseils pour les visites, plages, restaurants, etc. Bref... comme le couché de soleil, nous ne pouvons pas l'oublier !!!!

Alles war wieder einmal ausgezeichnet. Ein wunderschönes Haus in fantastischer Lage. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Insel bietet zahlreiche interessante Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, gute Lokale mit regionalen Speisen. Ob Relaxen mit Fernblick oder nach der Wanderung, das Bad im Pool ist immer ein Genuss. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und herzlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Die Lage der Villa 1 ist großartig und der Ausblick ist zu jeder Tageszeit einmalig schön! Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist perfekt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, so dass man auch gerne mal Mahlzeiten "Zuhause" einnimmt. Selbst in der Vorsaison ist der Ort einfach herrlich. Alle Beschreibungen auf der Internetseite fanden wir zu 100% bestätigt. Der Vermieter ist ein guter Kenner der Menschen sowie der Flora und Fauna auf Korfu und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder.
