The Sunset Sea View Villa 2 with private infinity pool is located in a quiet area embedded in an olive grove in Agios Georgios in the northwest of the island of Corfu at the intersection of the 4 villages of Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas, Arillas and Kavvadades. All the nine Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are situated on five adjoining plots of land with a total area of over 12.750 sqm.

Sunset Sea View Villa 2 offers beautiful views of the coastal village of Arillas and of the sunset next to or behind the Diapontian Islands and Cape Kefali. Due to the central location between Agios Georgios Pagon, Afionas and Arillas, several beautiful sandy beaches and also the double bay Porto Timoni are very easy to reach. The gorgeous sandy beaches of Agios Georgios Pagon (Pagi) (about 5 minutes by car), Arillas (about 5 minutes by car) as well as the sandy beach of Agios Stefanos (about 8 - 9 minutes by car) are all only a few minutes away.

Especially the sandy beaches of Arillas and Agios Stefanos, but also the southern part of the long sandy beach in Agios Georgios Pagon are all very shallow sloping and therefore very suitable for children. Along the three sandy beaches you will find cafés, bars, taverns and restaurants as well as supermarkets and souvenir shops. Motor boats (up to 30 hp can be used without a licence), pedal boats, canoes and surfboards can be rented on all three beaches. Also the picturesque mountain village of Afionas, which is located nearby, has quite a number of typical Greek tavernas and restaurants, which offer tasty food and also great views of the sea and the sunset behind or near the Diapontian Islands. From Sunset Sea View Villas you can take numerous walks through villages, olive groves or along the coast e.g. to Cape Kefali or to the double bay Porto Timoni near Afionas.

The Sunset Sea View Villa 2 is built as a bungalow. Living room with open kitchen and dining area: Seating area with two couches, couch table, large 58" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with 147 cm LED screen diagonal and easy access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video und YouTube (all directly as buttons on the remote control) and excellent sound with DTS Studio Sound support as well as air conditioning (can also be used as heating). Fully equipped kitchen with 4-plate induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer with large fridge and separate freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Dining area with dining table with 4 chairs (high chairs for small children can be added). In one of the bedrooms is an Iron and an ironing board.

Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms, both with 1.80 m x 2.00 m double beds with two seperated high quality 90 x 200 cm mattresses. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning (can also be used as heating), electric window shutters, 2 bedside tables, 2 reading lamps, a wardrobe, a laundry basket and a security safe as well as a large mirror. Cots for small children can be delivered free of charge (upon request).

Bathrooms: 2 en-suite bathrooms with floor-level showers with rain shower head. Each bathroom has a washstand with a washbasin, a mirror cabinet and WC. One of the bathrooms has a hairdryer.

• The infinity pools of Sunset Sea View Villas Corfu are all operated as saltwater pools with state-of-the-art salt chlorine generators. Due to the disinfection of the pools by salt-chlorine generators, you as a guest will have a much more pleasant swimming experience. The water feels velvety soft compared to the water treated with chlorine/chlorine tablets in conventional pools. Conventional chlorine is known to dry out the skin, irritate the eyes, and even cause allergies and skin irritation for some swimmers. Because saltwater pools do not use chemical-based conventional chlorine, they are much more hypoallergenic (less allergenic). The "unstabilized" chlorine produced by salt chlorine generators is much softer, safer and healthier. It acts immediately and oxidizes very quickly. As a result, there is hardly any noticeable chlorine odor. It is still chlorine, but it is produced by electrolysis from salt (sodium chloride / NaCl), so it is far less chemically aggressive than liquid, tabular or granular chlorine.
  
  The salinity in our saltwater pools powered by salt chlorine generators is also far less than the salinity of seawater. You will hardly be able to taste the saltiness. This is because saltwater pools are operated with an average salt content of about 0.35%. In comparison, seawater has an average salt content of about 3.5%, which is almost 10 times higher. The salt content of the Mediterranean Sea is even higher with an average of approx. 3.8%. The salt content in the water of our pools is thus lower than the salt content in human tear fluid, which has a salt content of approx. 0.9%. Thus, you can normally leave your eyes open underwater in our infinity pools without your eyes turning red and "burning" as they do in seawater or pool water treated with conventional chlorine tablets.
• In case of long-term rental in the winter months (between November and March), the accommodation is not cleaned by the landlord. Two sets of bed linen and two sets of bath towels and hand towels are provided, which the tenant must change / wash himself (washing machine and dryer are available).
  

Villa/Cottage with 2 bedrooms

Excellent modern villa with amazing views over the valley, shoreline, and the sea. Never get tired of admiring the view and the stunning sunsets. Quiet location in the midst of olive trees on top of the hill in a tiny village. Lots of privacy even though villas 1 & 3 are nearby. Nearest small village stores within 10 minutes walk. Less than an hour's drive from the airport, well worth it. The road is pretty fast until mid-way, then smaller mountaineous road to the village, all paved. This part of the island is nice and less steep and busy than in the North-Eastern part. Spent here first week of April - just perfect sunny weather and less crowds.

Great facilities, cleanliness. Calm environment. Everything worked well. The host is really friendly and helpful, carried our bags from the car, and explained everything well. He lives close by so the response time is short. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. Very nice layout with bedrooms on each side and kitchen/living room in the middle, access to the terrace from each room. Outdoor shower for hot days. Nice barbeque area. Very good information folder in the house, regional map and guidebook of Corfu. You wouldn't really want to leave the house but if you do, it's easy to drive to the nearest beaches and villages, visit Corfu town and other beautiful vistas. Would definitely rent again if I return to Corfu.

The driveway to the villa is a bit tight but luckily short, after the first drive it was ok for a mid-sized car.

Wir waren im August das zweite und nicht das letzte Mal bei René. Das Haus ist erstklassig ausgestattet. Ideal, wenn man selbst kochen möchte. Selbst ein Gasgrill gehört zur Ausstattung. Es stehen zwei separate Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer zur Verfügung. Der Wohn- und Küchenbereich ist sehr groẞzügig gestaltet. Die Aussicht ist nicht zu tippen. Selbst aus dem Infinity Pool hat man einen Blick über die gesamte Bucht. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind unbeschreiblich. Wenn man nicht selbst kochen möchte, dann gibt es in Afionas zahlreiche Restaurants. Zu empfehlen sind das Night Owl und das Panorama. Wenn man bis zum Ende des Ortes geht, dann findet man zahlreiche weitere Lokalitäten. Ein Supermarkt liegt ca. fünf Autominuten vom Haus entfernt. Dort gibt es auch eine tolle Metzgerei. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Rindfleischspieße und die Chilliwürste. Etwas günstiger ist der Supermarkt in Sidari ca. 8 km vom Haus entfernt. Wir waren 17 Tage dort und haben uns wunderbar erholt. Eins ist sicher, wir werden wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an René, der für uns immer ansprechbar war und viele tolle Tipps für uns hatte. Antio sas.

Unser Urlaub ging leider viel zu schnell vorbei. Die Lage der Sunset-Villa war einfach perfekt. So konnten wir schon beim Frühstück mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf die Bucht von Arillas in den Tag starten. Die Ausstattung, sowohl Kücheneinrichtung als auch die Möblierung in und am Haus ließen keine Wünsche offen. Es fehlte an nichts. Ob man die Zeit nun am Pool verbringt, einen Abstecher zum Strand macht oder die Gegend mit dem Auto erkundet, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, den Tag zu gestalten. Die beiden kleinen Ferienorte Agios Georgios und Arillas sind in 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. kleine Geschäfte und Tavernen mit leckerem Essen sind zahlreich. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle auch noch mal für die vielen Tipps für gute Restaurants und Tavernen in der Umgebung! Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht, die Gegend auf eigene Faust zu erkunden und Land und Leute kennen zu lernen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Im Infinity-Pool zu schwimmen mit Blick auf Arillas und das offene Meer war einfach traumhaft. Das werden wir auf jeden Fall sehr vermissen! Auch die stabile Internet- und Wlan-Verbindung war perfekt.

Die Stellplatz-Situation war nicht unbedingt etwas für schwache Nerven :-)

Herzlichen Dank für einen besonderen und wunderschönen Familien Sommerurlaub auf Corfu. Was sollen wir sagen, die Bilder auf der Homepage sprechen schon eine eindeutige Sprache und geben genau das wieder, was wir vorgefunden haben: Die Sunsetview Villas laden zum Entspannen, Genießen und Spaß haben, auf wirklich hohem Niveau ein. Es fehlte uns, was die Ausstattung im und rund ums Haus angeht, an nichts. Zum perfekten Urlaub trug auch die einmalige Gastfreundlichkeit von Claudia und René bei. Wann immer es kleinere Wünsche gab, waren die beiden schnell zur Stelle und erfüllten diese im Handumdrehen. Den morgendliche Bringservice von frischen Tomaten, Gurken und Zucchini aus dem eigenen Garten, vermissen wir nachhaltig.

Letztendlich wurde in anderen Kommentaren zurecht schon sehr viel gelobt und wir schließen uns diesem Lob sehr gerne an. Corfu und die kleine mit Liebe aufgebaute, exklusive Apartment Anlage ist definitiv eine Reise wert und wir kommen ganz bestimmt und sehr gerne wieder.... Daher wollen wir an dieser Stelle noch ein paar Tipps dalassen: Schönster Strand für Familien mit Kindern ist Agios Stefanos. Ausgedehnte Sandbänke lassen auch Kinder ohne Gefahr weit ins Wasser marschieren und ohne Angst das Schwimmen üben. Zudem gibt es nette Strandlokale mit Duschen zum Abwaschen des Salzwassers. Den kleinen Zwillingsstrand sollte man wenn, dann morgens in aller Frühe besuchen. Auf dem Weg gibt es einen tollen Aussichtspunkt zum fotografieren. Spätestens ab 10 Uhr füllt sich der Strand extrem und das Paradies ist nicht mehr ganz so paradiesisch. Für uns war das am schönsten gelegenste und leckerste Lokal mit Abstand das Restaurant Taverna Akrogiali. Es lohnt sich die Schotterstraße am Ende der Bucht Agios Georgios bis dahin durchzufahren. Tolle Fischgerichte, einmalige familiäre Athmosphäre und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge lassen einen das unglaublich leckere Essen genießen. Hinzu kommt, dass der Chef Costas auch lange in Deutschland gearbeitet hat und somit die Verständigung leicht ist. Zudem ist er unheimlich Kinderlieb und herzlich.

Die Parkplatzsituation ist noch etwas ausbaufähig.....

Wo soll man anfangen? Haus 2: Hochwertig ausgestattetes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Zwei Schlafzimmer (also für 4 Personen super), Lounge-Ecke, Ofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Poolroboter, Außendusche, automatische Jalousien, Kaffeemaschine usw. Alles was man also braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Aussicht: Hammer. Schöner geht es nicht. Den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein genießen. Pool: Super. Obwohl wir erst Ende Oktober da waren, waren wir jeden Tag im Pool mit den Kindern. Die Wasser-Temperatur war immer noch ca. 20 Grad. Samtweiches salzhaltiges Wasser. Für uns also vollkommen ausreichend. Essen: In der Nähe kann man überall sehr gut Essen gehen. Dafür sollte man aber ein (nicht tiefergelegtes) Auto dabei haben, da es schon sehr bergig ist. Die Straßen und Steigungen sind schon nicht ohne. Strand: Mehrere Strände in der Nähe. Wir sind zu denen gelaufen. Mit dem Auto ist es natürlich wesentlich angenehmer (ca. 5 -10 Minuten ). Einkaufen: Wir haben immer im kleinen Supermarkt vor Ort gekauft (5 Minuten mit dem Auto). Völlig ausreichend. Eine Shopping Meile für die Damen habe ich in der Nähe und am Strand nicht gesehen :). Da sollte man dann nach Korfu Stadt fahren (ca. 50 Minuten mit dem Auto). Traumhafte Gassen zum Einkaufen. Vermieter: Ohne Worte. Claudia und Rene leben das Vermieten. Ich denke, das sagt alles. Danke!

Ein hochwertig ausgestattetes Haus mit allem was man braucht, freundliche und offene Vermieter die jederzeit vorbei kommen wenn man irgendetwas braucht. Super Service. Der Pool und die Aussicht entsprechen den Bildern, eigentlich in echt noch schöner. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen. In der Nähe kann man überall toll essen gehen.

We were lucky enough to have spent a magical holiday here. The villa is beautifully equipped and everything that you need is there. The views are breathtaking and spending lazy days in the pool simply can't be beaten! There is a big patio area with a BBQ that we used everyday. René was a fantastic host and so friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and just book it! We have already booked for next year.
